Experience our new Essence of Islay tasting menu during a 2-night break, from just £399 per couple.

Dinner is included on one evening from our new six-course Essence of Islay menu in Restaurant 18, with panoramic views overlooking the links and ocean – the perfect spot to watch the majestic winter sunsets.

A foodie’s dream, the six-course menu will change to reflect the seasons and sample dishes include Loch Gruinart Oyster paired with an Islay Ales stout reduction and a foraged seaweed crumb, as well as a creative dish centred around a selection of flavours, colours and textures from the nearby Nerabus Farm. Other highlights include Bowmore landed crab and lobster bree (Gaelic for broth) and Ardtalla venison loin accompanied by baby beetroot, spinach puree and salted crab apple.

Across land, sea and air, Islay is brimming with local ingredients, ranging from seafood and game to freshly grown vegetables and herbs. In celebration of this, the new menu will honour Islay’s natural larder and centre exclusively around hyper-local ingredients, showcasing the very finest produce we have to offer. All of the produce is free-range and sourced from small-scale farmers and suppliers on Islay in a bid to reduce food air miles, whilst supporting artisan businesses that ecologically manage the land.
